Faculty Development Programs Mission

MTTF conducts a number of faculty development programs with the vision of enhancing teaching and other quintessential skills in the faculty. Along with promoting the professional practices reinforcing technical education these programs also motivate the faculty to achieve competitive teaching-learning environment consequently channelizing their academic qualifications and self-improvement. In addition, such programs provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge about newfangled technological developments and research tools and techniques in the relevant fields.

MTTF TASK

MTTF invites higher educational institutions (Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science Colleges and Polytechnics) to be a part of this initiative thereby benefiting the Faculty Members and Students through various endeavours of the society which includes Faculty Development and Training Programs, Skill Development Initiatives, Research, Industry – Institute Interaction, Nurturing Innovation and many such aspects. Moreover, the committee members of MTTF encourage and appreciate the participant faculty members of the Faculty Development Programs to voluntarily organize various activities for their fellow learners. The Programme aims at enhancing the academic and intellectual environment in the Institutions by providing ample of opportunities to the faculty members to pursue research as well as to participate in various seminars/conferences/workshops. MTTF strongly adheres that the participation in such programs would enable the faculty members to update their research and pedagogical skills.

OBJECTIVES

To promote organizational strategies for the faculty development so as to incentivize the faculty to grow professionally.

To develop all-inclusive skills for the holistic development of the faculty and thus, the students.

To enlighten them with latest developments in the relevant fields.

To show improvements in the teaching performance and learning outcomes for the students and the faculty.

To promote new ways of thinking and provide community network with a consistent commitment to educational scholarship.

PROCESS & CONDITIONS

Be a registered member of MTTF Society.

MTTF members can submit the proposal for the Faculty Development Program in collaboration.

Resource person(s) /platform(s) will be provided as per the requirement and availability of the members in the MTTF society.

The Duration of the program may vary from one to two week(s).

The program can be Online/ In Campus.

The facilities and services will be supported as per the requirement of the program.
